This time last week we were getting ready to attend the WLS Conveyancing Property Event
2022 hosted by X-press Legal Services – Fylde Coast, Cumbria & Ribble Valley and The
Westmorland Law Society. The Westmorland Law Society partnered with X-Press Legal Services Group to present the Residential and Commercial Conveyancing Property Event 2022.
From Blackpool up to Carlisle, CLC’s, Conveyancing Solicitors and Practice Managers of Conveyancing Law Firms were invited to get together for a day packed full of information, training and networking. The event was held at Junction 36 conference centre which also
happens to be a live auction house, often selling livestock.
Being our first face to face event in over two years, we were eager to get there and had set
up by 8am. We welcomed the delegates and made sure we sourced the bacon butties and
coffee before talks began.
Ian Quayle was the guest speaker for the day and delivered a range of topics on Property
Law & Conveyancing including both residential and commercial property as well as land acquisitions. The range of topics lead to plenty of discussions during coffee breaks and a mix of attendees throughout the day.
So, what did we take away from the event?
Well alongside our fellow supplier’s merch… we
noted that you should leave no stone unturned when buying any property and if in doubt,
always re-visit the property more than once at different times – you never know what you
might find!
